If analytics tools are configured, they may collect similar usage information to help us understand site performance.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health information, or other categories of "sensitive personal information" through this website. If you choose to share something sensitive in a free-text field, we treat it with the same care described in this policy and recommend you do not include it.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, review fit, recommend a service tier, provide services, manage client relationships, configure websites and third-party tools, maintain records, improve the site, protect against misuse, and comply with legal or administrative obligations.

For clients, information may also be used to perform website management, Shopify or Stripe setup, SEO, analytics review, email setup, ad management, reporting, and other work described in the agreed scope.

Where required by law, our lawful basis for processing is one or more of the following: your consent, performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the business, or compliance with a legal obligation.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as needed to operate the business, provide services, use trusted service providers, comply with law, protect rights and security, or complete a business transfer such as a merger or sale.

Categories of recipients may include hosting providers, Supabase (our database provider), email tools, analytics tools, payment processors, Shopify, Stripe, Google, Meta, ad platforms, scheduling tools, and other vendors needed for the work. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

If your project involves Shopify, Stripe, Google, Meta, email platforms, or other third-party accounts, those accounts are controlled by their own providers. We may help configure or manage them, but their separate terms and privacy policies also apply.

Payments and financial information

Growing Pace does not intentionally collect payment card numbers through this website. If payments are made through Stripe, Shopify, or another payment provider, payment information is handled by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy.

If we manage Stripe or Shopify setup for your business, payment data, payouts, customer billing records, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks belong to your business account and the payment provider's system. We access only what is needed to perform the agreed work.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site and connected services may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies in the following categories:

Strictly necessary: required for the site and intake form to function, including session and security cookies set by our hosting provider and by Supabase.

Preferences: remember basic settings such as theme or recently viewed pages, where applicable.

Analytics: if analytics are configured, they may set cookies to measure site performance and aggregate visitor behavior. We do not use these for cross-site advertising.

You can adjust cookie settings in your browser, but some parts of the site or connected tools may not work as expected if storage is disabled. If advertising pixels or additional analytics tools are added later, this policy will be updated to describe them.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected and as required by law. Typical default retention periods include:

Intake form submissions and inquiry emails: up to 24 months from the last contact, unless you become a client or ask us to delete sooner.

Active client records, contracts, scopes, deliverables, and billing records: for the duration of the engagement and up to 7 years afterward to support business records, tax, audit, dispute, and legal obligations.

Site analytics and server logs: typically 12 to 24 months, depending on the tool and purpose.

Where deletion is requested or required, we will delete or anonymize information unless we are legally or operationally required to keep it (for example, completed invoices, tax records, or records under a legal hold).

Security and breach notification

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. Contact form submissions are stored in a private database table with no public read access. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by law and within the timelines those laws require.

You are responsible for keeping your own account credentials secure and for limiting access to accounts we help configure or manage.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy law, including:

The right to know or access the personal information we hold about you.

The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.

The right to request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.

The right to data portability, where applicable.

The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of today.

The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond providing the requested services.

The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@growingpace.com from the address associated with your inquiry or account, or describe enough information to let us reasonably verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent acting on your behalf with written permission. We will acknowledge your request and respond within the timelines required by applicable law (generally within 45 days for US state laws, with up to a 45-day extension where allowed; within 30 days for GDPR, with up to a 60-day extension for complex requests). We do not charge a fee for reasonable requests.

If you believe we have not handled your request appropriately, you may contact your state attorney general or applicable supervisory authority.

If you access the site from outside the US, you understand that information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with comprehensive privacy law, you may have additional rights, including those described in the Your privacy rights section. Contact us at contact@growingpace.com to exercise them. Where we rely on service providers outside your country, we use reasonable safeguards consistent with applicable law.

Children's privacy

Growing Pace is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under the age of 16, and we do not use such information for purposes beyond what is described in this policy.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact contact@growingpace.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the business, site, tools, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date. For material changes, we will take reasonable steps to provide additional notice, such as a banner on the site or an email to active clients.
